I am sixth generation resident of Western North; my family arrived here from Ireland in the late 1700's. Having lived in Asheville all of my life, I am a great source of knowledge about the area including real estate and things to do during your visit. My passion in real estate is borne from watching the joy and excitement of first-time homebuyers. I am compassionate to all of my clients – buyers and sellers, providing top-notch professional assistance while actually listening to their wants, needs and desires. Having over 30 years of real estate experience, I have a proven track record that promises results, satisfaction and comfort with the purchase or sale of your home.

I dedicate most of my free time to non-profit volunteer positions. In 1985, I was a founder and charter member of Buncombe county Friends of Animals, now known as Buncombe county animal shelter. At that same time, I began working with several animal networks including the Anna Maria Goodman Foundation – I continue to volunteer for animal charities. I lost my Mother to cancer so the nearest and dearest organization to which I belong is Hope Chest. We assist by providing services often times not covered by insurance and/or other agencies. In our 13 counties, we have been able to assist hundreds of cancer patients.

If I had to choose my top three hobbies, I would include the following: gardening, which allows me to cultivate my plantings and watch them grow – very similar to my work with clients; I enjoy the amazing sense of exhilarated freedom when I am horse-back riding. Any time I am near an ocean, you will find me scuba diving and enjoying the different underwater species while peeking from under a coral reef in search of a shark.
